I must say I am impressed with this totally hip and cool invention, called dwink (the universal "dwink" box holder) This little invention has saved my family some serious spills. As promised, no more squirts! no more squeezing! Also, this drink box holder features comfortable handles for little fingers and a non-skid bottom, fits all drink boxes, including pouches, including soy milk and extra small, toddler size drink boxes. I tried out a toddler size drink box, and you simply turn the drink box sideways and it fits perfect. One of the coolest things is that it is made in the USA! These are a must have for small children and toddlers.

New Products To Talk About

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CjsI3AjiTDc/R8G7U7rIZaI/AAAAAAAAAHU/1kDe3fht0j0/s200/Image2new2x1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5170619815488415138" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CjsI3AjiTDc/R8G7GbrIZZI/AAAAAAAAAHM/fJhud0uqus0/s200/MD555.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5170619566380311954" />
Ok... so it has been awhile... some new products that I am very excited to talk about are Miss Priss Tutu's, adorable and sweet line of toddler and infant tutu's for the little girl who loves to twirl about and have FUN!!! It made me think about paying it forward. The story is about a young family, who had a tire blow out and they were left stranded. A kind man came along and tried to help. The family reluctantly let the man help. The man ended up going to a tire store and buying a new tire as the old one was unable to be repaired. The family did not know how to repay this kind man, as they could not afford this new tire. The man said, "I do not want you to repay me, just someday when you can, pay it forward to someone else, who may need the help." This type of story brings touches my heart. It really makes one think of the meaning of Chistmas and restores the faith of mankind. Happy Holidays!

Oh baby... what a cool find...Baby Legs

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_CjsI3AjiTDc/R8G77LrIZbI/AAAAAAAAAHc/2za9syWxswM/s200/todaynews.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5170620472618411442" />
One of my latest fun finds, is a cool new sassy line for the special boys and girls in your life... this new line I came across while web browsing has really taken off... the name you ask is baby legs. One item that has come under my radar, is Olive Kids Halloween Personalized Placemat! Spooky Halloween Fun! This placemat is wonderful! First of all, it is constructed with a heavy laminate material and is a very nice size, 12"x18". One of the features that I like best is that it can be cleaned very easily with a damp wash cloth or paper towel. If you are searching for a placemat, search no further than this one. I will tell you that it arrived quickly and packaged very nicely. It was personalized with my son's name and the placemat itself is adorable! My son loved it! He is a toddler and very messy as most toddler's are, so a placemat is the best thing to keep food from getting all over the table. These placemats come in many themes and can all be personalized with your child's name. In fact, I like them so much that I decided to carry them in my online boutique. So, please check them out!!!

My Stroller Experiences

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CjsI3AjiTDc/R8G9IbrIZeI/AAAAAAAAAH0/SAEwYwJdlyA/s200/micralitefastfoldred.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5170621799763305954" />
I am not ashamed to say that I am a mom who knows what she wants in a stroller. I have been through a half dozen strollers, yes, with one child. I want all of the features that all mom's look for... you know the ones.. lightweight, easy to store, easy to maneuver, comfortable for your baby/toddler, easy to breakdown, and of course safety, just to name a few. We as hip mom's, also look for something stylish, maybe a fun color, with a basket for storage, one we are proud of, if you will. So, I am writing this to tell you that I found it!!! Yes, I found the perfect stroller to meet all of my needs and more. The stroller I am speaking of is the Micralite fastfold stroller by euro-baby. This stroller has exceeded all of my expectations! First of all, the appeal when I first saw it was the color, bright red, the look, a European design. You simply do not see this stroller in every store. I like something different also, something that when you are walking along the mall you do not see every baby being toted in. Then, I discovered when opening it up, how easy it is to open and breakdown... Wow, my other 6 strollers were never so easy! The next thing I discovered was the weight... at only 14 lbs... It had the appeal and all the features of a big stroller, but weighed in more like an umbrella stroller. This stroller rides like a dream. You have to feel it to believe it! I told my hubby, "I can use 2 fingers of one hand!!!" He wonders, why is this important? I am dumbfounded at his lack of knowledge on the subject... I explain, "Well... let's see when you are juggling at least one child, possibly some packages, a handbag, and maybe a latte... being able to handle a stroller with 2 fingers is a wonderful thing!!!" So, here's the other cool part... going over any terrain is no problem for the Micralite fastfold stroller. This stroller handles pavement, concrete, wood, tile and even carpet and dirt like a pro! So, next on the features that I absolutely love are the shade to shield your little one from the elements, the rain cover that comes with the stroller as an added bonus, the way it stands alone to fit in a small space, the way the seat is constructed in the front in a bell shape for added comfort for your little one. I laughed when I saw my 20 mth. old sitting Indian style in the seat as comfy as he could be with a smile on his face. I cannot say enough about this stroller! It has a nice basket on the bottom to hold toys, small parcels, etc. It has a 5 point harness for protecting your little one, very important safety factor. Many of the strollers I have seen do not offer this added protection for your precious cargo. Many brands fasten around the waist only and some look like they will fasten around the neck and only have a clip for looks??? This I do not understand! This stroller comes complete with it's own pump for rear tires! I am excited to report that my stroller journey has come to an end and I do hope that you other hip momma's can benefit from my journey to make the right choice for yourself on the very first try! Happy Strolling!!!!

Stay Tuned For Upcoming Tips...

Maintaining Your Sanity

Ok... so now we are establishing there will be times you question your sanity throughout the baby process... So, here are some tips to keep yours. First, do not get bogged down to the point of losing it...your sanity that is... What this means is, ASK FOR HELP! Ask your husband, family or friends, if need be, to come over and just watch the baby for a couple hours, or even 1 hour,(heck 15 minutes will do), so that you are able to regain what you haven't quite lost yet...lol... Call someone if no one is around, even find someone to watch while you are in the house if needed... even to take a shower in peace. What a nice thing it is to have 5-10 minutes in the shower to clear your head in this time. You must do something to avoid getting yourself so stressed that you feel you are going to go a little kookoo or that your baby will feel your anxiety. Also, take a few deep breaths and after putting your little bundle to rest for his afternoon nap, take a breather yourself... whether it be curling up with a good book (or your favorite baby blog...lol), talking to a friend (maybe someone who understands just exactly what you are going through- this can help a great deal and is cheaper than therapy), taking that shower if you didn't get it before, or taking a nap yourself. I find it relaxing myself to get on the computer and surf... but, that's just me. Ok... so now you've had a shower(hopefully...lol) and you have had some time to yourself, now the laundry...ahhhh~ it never ends does it... Well, I find the only way to stay on top of it is to do a load every day. Also, plan out some quick and easy meals to make...ones that do not require a lot of thought or preparation, but that will keep you going and staying healthy. Speaking of health.... keep yourself healthy! I know this sounds like a no brainer, but really- take your vitamins, eat as healthy as you can, do some daily exercise of some kind, like walking with your little one in the stroller around the block, or whatever you enjoy and stay clear of others with colds. You do not want to be sick, obviously, so that you can better take care of your little one as well as not causing yourself more stress by getting them sick either. Alright,ok, my hubby says,Tivo is a must too...lol... I have to agree that watching some of your fave. shows can help alleviate stress as well. We also started playing Soduku to help with anxiety... The last thing, but certainly not last, for now is power of prayer and positivity. If you have both of these in your life there is nothing that can stand in your way to happiness and maintaining sanity throughout the proces... and most of all~ Enjoy the process along the way! One day you will look back and remember it fondly... heck I already have :0)

Planning your bundles arrival...

My first of many baby tips to come is what to do to prepare for your bundle of joy. As most new moms know preparing for your little bundle is a quite large undertaking. First, we are going through a series of nesting phases. I, myself started out wanting to do a complete remodel of the house, much to my hubby's dismay. In the case of my home, I felt it needed an overhaul, from new floors to new paint... you name it... My first tip is to prioritize your needs first. Immediately find one thing that needs attention and aim for one thing at a time. Otherwise, if you are like me, you will find yourself in a bit of a tizzy. Between hormones and normal pregnancy woes, some find it exhausting just being pregnant... so, make your tasks easy ones and aim for one at a time. The most important item on the list is not baby proofing, although great to do. This doesn't need to be accomplished until your little one is entering the roaming stage, although of course doesn't hurt if you can get ahead of the game. I found myself thinking as some do, that it all had to be done... NOW...pulling my hair out in the process. Make certain you have your priorities itemized in a list and then slowly tackle one at a time, perhaps weekly. However, start early as the further along you will get in your pregnancy, the less energy you will have, at least in my case and of course there is the cumbersome factor as well. I am also advocating this as I had my little one nearly 2 months early. Hopefully, this will not be your case, however it is good to plan ahead. I will add you will be quite busy and, well, yes tired...after bringing your bundle home, with many sleepless, yet wonderful nights ahead. It does get easier ladies. I promise!!! After all of your tasks are complete, ie. painting the nursery, decorating it, any last minute clean up projects you might have, then I suggest plenty of rest if possible before the big moment arrives. The main tip here is take time out for yourself and do not stress yourself out about the little things before the BIG things happen!

kaleidesprout baby tips

This blog is dedicated to tips and tricks of having baby and family cohabitate happily together.
